It was a night of horror in useh, Ogida Quarters in Benin City, as Cultists suspected to be members of the deadly Eiye confraternity cult group, killed a barber called Bright in his barbing shop opposite Ogida Barack Police station, while another was beheaded in a cult clash which ensured between the two rivals cult groups, Eiye and the Black Axe confraternity cult group, in the locality.
A source who spoke to confirmed the incident to journalist, but failed to disclose his identity for fear of been killed. The source said that both Innocent Osirim, GbeGbe and Bright was initiated the same day into the deadly Black Axe confraternity cult group unknowing to them. The source also confirmed that on the 23rd of December 2015, Bright(barber) who was a friend to both Innocent Osirim and GbeGbe was short dead in his barbing shop by some members of the deadly Eiye confraternity cult group.
On the 30th December 2015, Innocent Osirim who is a taxi driver and his friend GbeGbe were around Useh area in the same locality, at about 8:30pm to 9:00pm. Some boys suspected to be members of the deadly Eiye confraternity cult group, attacked them and that Innocent Osirim was lucky to escape but his friend GbeGbe wasn’t fortunate as he was killed and beheaded, though the police later recovered his head at Useh secondary School premises.Even as at that, the same group of boys still went to Innocent Osirim’s house in search of him but they were disappointed that he wasn’t home. The source added that one of the neighbours, then called him(Innocent Osirim) that some cultists were laying siege to get him. Base on that, he never came back home. The group of boys were very furious because they couldn’t get him so they descended on his sick father, who was said to be diabetic and was rushed to a private hospital for emergency medical attention to resuscitate him.
They also burnt down the Toyota Camry car owned by one Mr George Odoga which Innocent Osirim was using for commercial purposes as a taxi driver, as the traumatic father died on the 31st December 2015. All efforts to contact the said Innocent Osirim was in nulity as he was said to have absconded
