Former vice president Atiku loses son-in-law

Former Nigeria vice President Atiku Abubakar has lost his son-in-law Adamu Modibbo.
Atiku Abubakar tweeted on Sunday night saying the late Modibbo was more than a son-in-law to him.
Alhaji Adamu Modibbo was more than a son in-law to me. A loving & compassionate father to his immediate family & to all that he encountered in his impactful journey of life. May Allah forgive his sins & grant him Aljannah Firdaus,” Atiku wrote.

The cause of death was not immediately clear.
Modibbo was a retired banker and former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship aspirant in Adamawa State.
