MayaSalis Entrepreneurship and vocational Empowerment foundation(MEVEF) Holds Free Skill Acquisition Training For Jiwa community Women and Youths.
Barely Two months after rendering a Selfless Service to the Youth and Women of Anagada Community, Mayasalis Entrepreneurship and vocational Empowerment Foundation ‐MEVEF, A Non governmental, Non profit, Non-political and Non-religious Organisation, Which main Aim is to Develop Self-reliant individuals through five (5) Major focus; Skill Acquisition, Entrepreneur, Agriculture, Health and Education, has rendered another Selfless Service to Jiwa Community Women and Youth.

Jiwa,which is located between Gwagwa and Deidei area of Abuja ,under Amac area council,Abuja, FCT.
MEVEF President and Founder Miss. Salmat Salisu Musah Also known as MAYASALIS, seeked the Royal blessings and approval of the Emir to Empower his community women and youths.
Responding to her request, the Emir Congratulated her” FOR HAVING THE ZEAL TO CONTRIBUTE TO MANKIND. THAT, IN ISLAM IT’S CALLED SADAQAH JAARIYAHJ”.
Upon a need assessment which involved a meeting between the NGO team members and the community women and youth leaders, they choose VASELINE PRODUCTION from the list of skills that they were presented with, their reason was that it’s hamattarn season and they can barely eat talk more of buying Vasline which is essential for the season.
On the 6th day of December,2020. MEVEF Foundation trained, empowered, fed and gifted the produced vasline to the beneficiaries of the training and immediately started mentorship program for those of them that were interested in commercializing their skills.
“I have been confused and frustrated throughout this year,thinking of what to support my husband , who is a farmer, Now that, this NGO has given me this kind of opportunity at my own comfort zone with no fee attached, I will definitely explore it and make good use of the skill I acquired here today” says Sadatu Salihu one of the beneficiaries.
The community women Leader Mohammed Salamatu said; She’s suprise that ,despite the pandemic an NGO founded and sponsored by a young lady is making this kind of impact in our lives.
Some members of the Chief makers to the community, Madaki, Wambai, chiroma e.t.c congratulated the NGO and pray that someday a Government body will join forces with MEVEF to liberate Rural citizens of the country from poverty and Idleness.
Miss MayaSalis The president and Founder of MEVEF, assured the women and youths of more projects and that, such projects will continue to take place in All the 36 states of the Federation with urgent focus in all rural communities in all the six 6 area council of Abuja until poverty is defeated and self-sufficiency achieved. Abuja despite being the Federal capital territory , has so many untouched communities, which are rarely remembered or paid adequate attention to she added.
