Obaseki MEGA Agenda Redefines Good Governance – Dr. Elvis Omoregie

Uselu, Egor Local Government Area-A chieftain of the people Democratic Party, PDP, Egor Local Government Area of Edo State, Dr Elvis Omoregie, has said that Make Edo Great Again, MEGA, agenda of Governor Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki, redefined good governance in the state.

He made his position known recently during an award ceremony organised by the Edo State PDP Patriots, an anxiliiary unit of the People Democratic Party in Egor to honour indigenes who have distinguished themselves in their various responsibilities.

Speaking with Journalists shortly after he was honoured with a Luminary Award for effective and efficient leadership in Egor Local government area. Dr Omoregie, who was the former deputy Chief of staff in Prof Oserheimen Osunbor administration between 2007 and 2008 said that the administration of Gov Obaseki from 2016 till date, has redefined the fundamental principles of an ideal democracy, pointing out that the state under his watchful eyes has experienced macro transformation which culminates in very obvious developments across the state.

He thanked the organisers of the award ceremony for chosen him to be honoured among the distinguished personalities in Egor in particular and the state in general, saying that Gov Obaseki is a dynamic leader who is resolute in whatever he does to impact positively on the lives of the people.

He added that he had no doubt that Gov Obaseki’s second tenure in office will also promote a course of good governance, especially in view of his stupendous achievements in the past four years, stressing that he will perform above expectations, just as he has appealed to the PDP members across the state on the need to embrace and tolerate one another for the purposes of achieving the desired results for the people, while urging the people to support Gov Obaseki to enable him take the state to the next level.
