The National Vice Chairman South South zone of the Peoples Democratic Party, Chief Dan Osi Orbih, yesterday paid a condolence visit to the former Governor of Kano State His Excellency Sen. Dr. Rabiu Kwankwaso, over the death of his father Alh. Musa Kwankwaso.
In his comment Chief Orbih said, I am here to sympathize with the entire Kwankwaso family and the good people of Kano State over the death of an Elder Statesman, a father and a great promoter of peace and unity. No doubt he will be greatly missed by all, most especially his immediate family. You will take solace in the fact that his time on earth was well spent and you’re a result of his good effort and contribution to mankind. On behalf of the entire PDP family in the South South Zone, we wish you, your family and the entire Kano State the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
In his response, Sen. Dr. Rabiu Kwankwaso appreciated Chief Orbih for finding the time to pay him this brotherly visit, expressing joy and happiness over it. ” I am indeed very excited to receive you into my home, my dear brother. This visit means a lot to me and my family and we will not forget this kind gesture from you and your good people. Thank you for your time and of course your own contribution to our party and Nation’s democratic development.
Alh. Musa Kwankwaso, until his death, was the District Head of Modobi Local Government Area and Majjidadin Kano. He was appointed by the late Emir of Kano, Ado Bayero. He was also recently appointed Makaman Karaye by the Emir of Karaye, Ibrahim Abubakar II, one of the four emirates created by Gov. Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State.
Alh. Musa Kwankwaso, died on 25th December, 2020. May Allah accept him into paradise.
