Police Repel attack on PDP campaign Train at Apana

Men of the Nigerian Police Force attached to the Edo State PDP Campaign Train, foiled the effort made by hoodlums to attack the campaign train of the Edo State Governor and his deputy in APA na-Uzairue, Etsako East LGA.
The PDP campaign team left Ward 12 (Ayowiri), and went to Apana, the DG of the campaign Hon. Paschal Ugbome was the first to arrive the scene with security agents.
The APC hoodlums in the Apana community said, they would not allow the rally to hold. They started destroying billboards and other campaign materials of the PDP.
We were reliably informed that the hoodlums were mobilized and paid to disrupt the event by a former commissioner of the State, who is an indigene of Apana.
The police waved in and restore peace immediately, the campaign is on..
