“There is so much at stake for you”, Obaseki tells Ologbo people.

Ologbo people in Ikpoba okha local Government Area of Edo State, have been told to be vigilant, not to allow individuals who do not mean well for the people, to occupy the seat of power in Edo State.

This message was from Governor Godwin Obaseki in his address to the crowd of supporters at Ologbo, during the PDP ward to ward governorship campaign in Ikpoba Okha LGA.

He said, “We are just completing the first phase of your modular refinery. I need to do the second phase. If I am not Governor, the investors will not have confidence to continue to put money in Ologbo”

“As Governor, I will work for you, work hard so that some of the oil wells will also belong to Ologbo people”.

The State Governor advised the people to reject the opposition party, saying that they do not mean well for the people. He informed, “There is so much for you Ologbo people. Those other people, they don’t care about you. They don’t mean well for you. If they come back, all the investment that we have done, they will try and pocket it for themselves and it will not work again. We will not let them come back. All I need from you is your vote”.

Governor Godwin Obaseki recalled the state governments efforts in the area of security and protection of lives and tasked them to vote for PDP on September 19th. Government, he emphasized, will always provide basic amenities and enabling environment for investors to thrive in the state.

Earlier, Chief Dan Orbih while speaking at the campaign rally in Ikpoba Okha LGA, called on the electoral umpires coming to Edo State to conduct free and fair elections in order to ensure that the votes counts.

The campaign rally in Ikpoba Okha LGA which been rounded up, had a large turnout of supporters who were appreciative of governments projects in the LGA. The PDP campaign train moves Egor local Government Area.
